Determination of Some Biological Characteristics and Population Parameters of the Blotched Picarel (Spicara flexuosa Rafinesque, 1810) Distributed in the Eastern Black Sea (Rize - Hopa)

This study was carried out in order to determine some biological characteristics of the fish species Spicara flexuosa, which is distributed on Eastern Black Sea coast, and contribute management picarel all seas our country. Between October 2015 September 2016, 599 samples were obtained examined laboratory. It determined that individuals between ages I-VII 31.22% population male 68.78% female. The minimum-maximum total length values 8.7 21.8 cm; weight ranged from 7.1 129.94 g. has been mean males statistically different females (P<0.05).
